The Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates in Dubai City

The oil still bubbles in the states and emirates all around the Persian Gulf. Nobody knows exactly how long the stocks will still reach, maybe another 20, 30 or 40 years. The income by the black gold is not infinite for emirates like Dubai. Nevertheless, the second largest emirate (with 84,000 km² a little bit larger than Bavaria) of seven United Arab Emirates has recognised quite early that tourism is an option for the future. In Dubai, there are huge investments in 3-, 4-, 5-and even more star hotels which attract visitors from all over the world with comfort, luxury and lifestyle, with a rising trend. Only on Palm Jumeirah, the island piled up in the sea in the form of a palm, another 40 hotels will be built. As there are no real mountains and of course no snow at temperatures of more than 40 °C, the Kempinski hotel Mall of the Emirates in Dubai city offers even "alpine experience" in the worldwide third-biggest indoor-ski-resort. The biggest shopping mall of the Middle East, adjoining directly the hotel guarantees a boundless shopping experience. However, comfort also calls for high-quality technology. The main principals of the Kempinski hotel Mall of the Emirates, Al Jaber Grinaker, accordingly raised the bar of the building technology. In terms of bathroom technology they relied on quality "Made in Germany" with the products of Sanitärtechnik Eisenberg GmbH.

Internationally successful company

SANIT is a successful enterprise of the international sanitary industry whose products are exported to more than 60 countries, beside the distribution in the German market. The enterprise (250 employees), belonging to the Aliaxis group (Belgium) produces high-quality sanitary products in a modern production plant in the town of Eisenberg, in the heart of the well-established central German industrial region of Thuringia / Saxony.

The hotel guest in the centre of attention

The Kempinski hotel Mall of the Emirates has more than 393 luxurious rooms and suites (from 30 m² - 300 m²) with a unique view over the skyline of Dubai and the Persian Gulf. He who likes it a little more alpine, books one of 15 chalets with a view at the Indoor-ski slope. The up-to-date and elegantly furnished guest rooms with high comfort for cosy living were designed by the famous American interior decorators Wilson & Associates. An air-conditioning just belongs to the basic equipment like modern, digital communication and entertainment media. Several restaurants, a wellness centre, tennis courts and much more are part of the other conveniences of the hotel.

Highly comfortable bath rooms and German quality

A lot of value was set on the design of the spacious bathrooms. Equipment and interior correspond exactly to that what a guest of a 5-star hotel may and can expect: a big, partly stand-alone bath or a Jacuzzi. Two wash basins with oversized mirror plus make-up mirror. Separate shower cabin, separate toilet and a bidet as well as wall and floor coverings made of natural stone, partially even of marble.

Modern technology for comfortable operation

Comfort deals, as everybody knows, also with form and function of products. The SANIT concealed cisterns of series 983 for in-wall installation, with small access opening were installed in all bathrooms and they are equipped with a cable technology. It goes without levers and compensators to release the dual flush operated by the chromed push plates of the series SANIT 701. Furthermore, the operating plates can be mounted easily on the cistern, with few steps only, by a bayonet joint. Complex adjustments belong to the past with this modern cable technology. Hence where are no movable parts, nothing can be displaced or even fail. The SANIT waste and overflow fittings of the series 830 (cable operated, with chromed turning handle) can be easily and comfortably operated in the baths and Jacuzzis. In addition, SANIT WC-inwall modules type 982 N (also with cable technology and operating plates of the series 701) as well as urinal elements of the SANIT series 995 (with infrared control) were used in the spa area and in other public sanitary rooms.
