The development team of VEB Sanitärtechnik has redeveloped the odor trap (siphon) and thus won the first prize in the competition for material savings.
In the production of the optimized new invention, 800,000 DM in material costs per year could be saved.

Sanitärtechnik Eisenberg GmbH –
with the fall of the Wall there was no end, but the renaming.
1997 the move from the individual buildings in the city of Eisenberg to the new plant followed, where all trades – from administration to warehouse to production – are located at one location in the industrial area of Eisenberg, with perfect connection to the highway, so that even more efficient management is possible.

The concentrated location of the plant in Eisenberg paid off in terms of efficiency.
Thanks to increasing sales, a second location in Rödental, Bavaria, could be purchased in addition to the main plant in Eisenberg, Thuringia, which completely transitioned to the SANIT brand in a phased plan by 2013.

– as part of the family-run group, which is present in 170 markets with 85 production facilities and over 24,000 employees, SANIT is also expanding its international scope.
