Sponsor of Eisenberg’s Tennis Club
The tennis club in Eisenberg was re-established on July 25, 1990, and started with two courts and a small clubhouse at Jahnplatz. Due to planned housing projects, the location had to be moved, so in 1993 the decision was made to build a new facility in Schortental. Construction began in the spring of 1995, and the first games could already take place in June. Dr. Christian Thomas made a significant contribution to the realization of this project, decisively initiating and accompanying the dream of the new tennis facility. With great commitment from the members, the facility was further expanded: in 1996 the foundation stone of the clubhouse was laid, in 1997 the sanitary facilities were inaugurated, and in 1998 the first general meeting took place in the new clubhouse. Today, the club has 63 members and two teams in regular match play – always with the aim of inspiring even more people for the generation-connecting sport of tennis.
SANIT regularly supports Eisenberg’s Tennis Club.
Since last year, four privacy screens from SANIT around the facility in Schortental have offered athletes more privacy and relaxed training conditions.
