Sponsor of the Eisenberg Tennis Club
The tennis club in Eisenberg was re-established on July 25, 1990, starting with two courts and a small clubhouse at Jahnplatz. Due to planned housing projects, the location had to be moved, so in 1993 the decision was made to build a new facility in Schortental. Construction began in spring 1995, and the first matches could already take place in June. Dr. Christian Thomas made a significant contribution to the realization of this project, decisively initiating and supporting the dream of the new tennis facility. With great commitment from its members, the facility was further expanded: in 1996, the foundation stone for the clubhouse was laid, in 1997 the sanitary wing was inaugurated, and in 1998 the first general meeting took place in the new clubhouse. Today, the club has 63 members and two teams in league play – always with the goal of inspiring even more people for the generation-connecting sport of tennis.

Since last year, four privacy screens from SANIT around the facility in Schortental offer athletes more privacy and relaxed training conditions.
